The Mexican consul general in Phoenix has "energetically protested the undignified way in which the Mexicans were transferred to 'Tent City,'" the department said in a statement. The department said the treatment and transfer of prisoners should "conform to internationally recognized norms" but did not give more details about why it thought the prisoners had been mistreated.

Mexico protests Tent City separation of illegals - International Herald Tribune

The US needs to empty out every jail cell filled with mexican national criminals and ship them home. I'd love to how these whiners deal with their own criminals.

Of course not, just the ones in jail. In the words of Calderon: Where there is a mexican there is mexico.

This would be laughable, if not so utterly insolent. The Mexican government has not only encouraged their criminals to come here, they have facilitated their illegal entry. They should be ashamed to say anything; yet, they have the gall to persistently interfere in our affairs. One would think THEY were paying the exorbitant costs for the apprehension, criminal investigation, legal representation, and incarceration of these criminals.

United States taxpayers are footing the bill for these miscreants, not the Mexican government. When they start assuming these costs, then, and only then, will they be in the position to dictate our policies and procedures.

If they’re so concerned about their citizens, why don’t they arrange to have ALL of them repatriated?

I think we pay around $40,000 a year for each inmate. So let's round them all up, the illegals I meant, and send them back to where they came from. A truck full of them, and unload them right on the other side of the Rio Grande. Whomever wants to cross back to the USA, shoot to kill.

No. No. No. If you dump them just across the border they'll break back in in just a matter of days. Put them on slow leaky cattle boats and ship them down to the southern tip of Meheko. That way it'll take them months to break back in.

What you are suggesting may just come to pass------------especially if Mexico really implodes courtesy of its drug wars.

Because they don't want them either. Notice how they are panicked at the thought of their massive burdens returning?

Calderon is nothing less than Vincente Fox light.
