Senate Stimulus: 300,000 Jobs for Illegals? (http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/20090204/pl_usnw/senate_stimulus300_000_jobs_for_illegals - broken link)

As I listen to fox news this morning, Just can't belive that the gov is creating a stimulus that feeds the illegal immigration problem further.
I am calling and emailing ever gov rep for los angeles and ca.

The 450 billion for illegal immigrant welfare is just more than we can afford or should be burdened to pay for!
Children of illegal aliens collect $450 million in welfare in 2008

Please don't let them push this stuff thur in the middle of the night!

The same was going on in Europe with illegals getting free health care and they could go to school while we had to pay taxes for everything...even owning a dog made you have to pay tax per dog and a government person would check every house if there were dogs not reported....and this wasn't a communist country...just socialistic country...which America is becoming!

Legal aliens have to pay thousands and stick to the law and are behind illegals in line to become citizens and many of them have E2 visa's which they have to start a business and give Americans a job....this is wrong...I agree with you write any Senator or start a petition...

Are you under the impression this is a Democrat or Obama proposal? (I ask because of the "middle of the night" reference and the fact that you were watching Fox News.) Please dont forget that it's far and away Republican legislators who are the friends to the businesses and industries that support illegal alien employment.

From your first link:

"The House of Representatives version of the stimulus package has a provision requiring contractors to use the E-Verify system, which enables employers to quickly determine if new hires are authorized to work in the United States. At present, the Senate has no such provision."

No way to be sure? no transparency? lets see what they are doing this time? in the middle of night is just my way of saying this enormous amounts of money needs to go the usa citizen not more dead weight, welfare and schools that are broke to the speacial costs to educate the non english speaking kids. And all the costs for medical are destroying califorina. More proof is the biggest part of the housing failure is loans made to these people mostly in undesirable neighborhoods but luckly for us we get take the hit as we all get lumped together , the good guy pays for their failures. In the end they'll go back to where they came from or be reduced to renting as it should of been anyway and show some repect for this great country that has footed the bill so long.
Let the entitlement STOP!

The Greedy rich, that want to keep americans living in sub standard 3rd world conditions , but its not just the employment its the welfare. Most I have gotten some to confess is they say the man of family works under the table while the woman mates and collects. so see how that works?
if he has a green card tax id he only works long enough to get his tax and whatever benifits they can.

Gee no wonder why people are starting wake up ?

The biggest proponent to amnesty is Senator Reid. I heard he was behind the removal of the e-verify as well. He is a Democrat. Personally, I think the Republicans want them for the cheap labor, and the Democrats for the future voters. Either way the US citizen and legal immigrants lose.
