The county and actually the state has no ability to change this law. Hospital Emergency Departments, as part of federal EMTALA law must treat and stabilize any patient who presents to an ED, regardless of legal or illegal status or ability to pay.

I think in general, most people would still not consider it reasonable to withhold emergency care; but this should be followed with a prompt deporting from the country. However, then everyone states that illegals will not get appropriate care and will fester disease and have excessive mortality, etc.

There aren't always options to keep everyone happy. This is the mess illegal immigration causes. The answer is clearly to make sure no more illegal immigrants make it in and figure out what to do with the ones that are already in the U.S. (which I believe deportation is the correct response).

Deport them and then send the Mexican government the bill. Then maybe Mexico will figure out ways to stop their own people from crossing the border.Oh, thats right, the American economy is the Mexican economy ,due to the fact that illegals send money back to their families in Mexico and buy property in Mexico(which we could not do btw).So Mexico is all for their people crossing the borders and do nothing to stop it.
