IMO any Institute that gets or allows Federal aid should be regulated in favor of the tax payers providing the funds. In this case NO ILLEGALS unless they are paying 100% of ALL of their expenses.

Do you really think the govt would "take on" Harvard given that many of its members are alumni?

How nice for this boy. He is exactly the type of person we want as a citizen of the USA! I say we grant him legal status immediately so instead of complaning the OP can brag about how smart the kids in our country are. And when he graduates from Harvard he can go on to do great things and make us even prouder.

Hint for the advocates of massive deportation: Harvard grads are not the kind of people you want out.

No they are not but that is not a reason to take money from blue collars workers who couldn't afford College to provide these people a top notch education.

When this illegal alien graduates from Harvard, he should be returned to his home country, the country that he is a citizen of. With his stellar academic background, he will be able to do far more good there than he could ever do here. How are countries like Mexico supposed to pull themselves up by their bootstraps if their brightest citizens refuse to live there? If he develops the next Walmart or Microsoft in Mexico that would be great because it would create jobs there and fewer of them would be coming here. Americans paid for this kid's k-12 education and we probably picked up the tab for his healthcare, too. Now he should go home and help his own country.

And, why not? Illegal aliens (Harvard grads or not) are criminals and need to be dealt with as such.

It's called brain drain or human capital flight. The kid is smart enough to know he will have a better future here.

Immigration services will grant him all kinds of visas and any employer will sponsor him. I have worked with H1B1 visa holders before. No big deal.

I'm very happy for him. He must be one smart cookie. The funds are private and people need to stop saying that public funds were used. If Walmart decides to give millions of dollars to Nigeria or the NRA nobody can't stop them because they are a private institution.

The scholarships are out there, but you have to be the top of your class. It sucks but sometimes there are people smarter than us out there.
