Whether you realize it or not, the folks down Mexico way are very smart. Many are illiterate, but they’re still smart. They understand that our government’s border policies mean they can take over America without firing a shot. They’re well on their way.

An invasive army of nearly 20 million illegal immigrants is growing. They overwhelm our schools, deplete health care resources, contribute to high unemployment, and are about to wreck our entire economy. California’s bankruptcy is a direct result of immigrant policies.

Maternity wards lining the Rio Grande permit women in labor to hurry across the border just in time to deliver a new little American. This skewed utilizing of “birthright citizenship” should stop right now.

saukvalley.com | Concerned about growing numbers of illegal immigrants

I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, I think it would be a day late and a dollar short. The damage has already been done.

From same article:
"The Heritage Foundation estimates that “the average low-skill household receives $30,160 in taxpayer-paid benefits ... but pays only $10,573 in taxes at all levels “ a net cost to us taxpayers of almost $20,000 yearly. Make that $564 billion in 2004 alone. Because they send back to Mexico about $23 billion, they pay very little in sales taxes. Almost half of illegal immigrants are part of an underground economy and avoid all taxes."

----

They're breaking the backs of the taxpayers. Is it any wonder we don't have enough funds for schools, hospitals or infrastucture?

This takes the cake:

"The Security and Prosperity Partnership, a deal signed with Mexico in 2005, is part of a 5-year plan for massive U.S. aid. “The Senate immigration bill calls on U.S. taxpayers to ‘improve the standard of living in Mexico.’” Consider that net retirement costs for amnestied immigrants and their relatives could reach $2.5 trillion “ five times the cost of the Iraq War “ and this is apart from the massive bailouts of the past few months."

It truly is. And it's a cycle they're perpetuating. I taught at a high school along the border and the pregnancy rate among the students was astonishing. One young man impregnated two girls -- one of them twice! Girls were having one, two -- a few had even THREE -- kids by the time they graduated.

The girls would stay at home with their moms (who had a bunch of kids themselves, starting young) and they'd all collect their welfare checks, WIC, food stamps, Medicaid, you name it. I know for a FACT that one of the moms was encouraging her girls to get pregnant.

i understand what you have seen. I spent one year in El Paso, young girls, some 15, with babies, slightly older ones with toddlers and a fat belly with another. They acted like it was thr norm.

They really know how to work the system.
