* Omar came to the US illegally as a child, flying into JFK Airport with his mother on July 6, 1989.
* In 1992, an immigration judge denied his mother's asylum application and ordered Omar "excluded" from the United States.
* He was ordered out again in February 1994, but didn't leave.
* In October 2004, Omar was picked up by the Nassau County Police Department on an outstanding ICE warrant, and arrested the next day by federal agents.
* That same month, ICE officials made the first of several requests for travel documents from Afghan officials to deport Omar.

well, he should be deported not just because he's illegal but because he's illegal and a consistent repeat criminal.

this isn't as bad as the starving north koreans who sneak over to china and south korea just looking for food and they are sent back to be shot for trying not to starve! even some poor fishermen were caught fishing, drifting slightly past designated waters looking for fish and they were sent back to be shot. they even told them they didn't realize it and they were shot. these people were shot in front of their villagers. this i don't agree with, they should have been given asylum knowing full well they would be killed if sent back. that's just sick.

however, this guy is a jerk and deserves to be deported.
