Ya right

Face it, you are in for a very long march across the desert. Plus, you better hope those guys shooting up the water jugs aren't out there.

The fence doesn't matter. It won't keep them out. The drug runners have already constructed a sophisticated tunnel system, with electricty and everything, from Tijuana to CA, and I would imagine from other border cities to U.S cites. Our law enforcement and the MExico Govt just "discovered" them. So what do we do about that?

You seem to forget we have technology for detecting tunnels and caves. Ground penetrating radar for example. Blow the tunnels as we find them. Its not difficult.

We could bomb the tunnels like we did with Al-Qaida's or Saddam's.

Or we can man the tunnels with our own troops and kill anyone that tries to use them.

The tip toeing will be ending soon; trust me.

Why I say that as Mexico is showing more and more classic signs of a failed nation--------it will be a matter of when; not if that the USA will be sending troops in.

If anything: it would not surprise me to see Nuevo Leon, etc. request help from us Gringos since Mexico City is clearly not up to the task of reining in the Zetas, etc.

Exactly!....Which is why I expressed the tought that their Border Patrol officers must have a REALLY EASY job.....and their "Border Fence" could be 18 inches of chicken wire. SOME countries have ir EASY !!!

(Don't mean to offend anyone here with my lame jokes....NOBODY really believes this is a serious thread...do they? )

Many people don't know this but the US is also working on a "virtual fence". It will detect those crossing and digging. Or supposed to.
