Very cool map. It seems like a lot of immigration went through NYC(of course), Chicago, San Francisco, LA, New Orleans, Seattle(later), Philly/Eastern PA and Boston. It varies by the ethnic groups as well. Miami, the Twin Cities and the Texas cities were big for certain groups.
