It about time that this is exposed. Funny how many label us as racist but yet out government doesnt apply immigration laws to mexicans that it applies to others....

Nothing buy excuses from our government when they dont even follow our own laws. When will an excuse all me not to pay taxes?

And .... wait for it .......

That would be the reason President Bush fired the U.S. Attorneys.

Any of the 'liberal elite' out the want to comment now - or will the story just die?

It will die. Bush strongly opppsed when some were to be called to testify. These issues are always "hot" for a short period of time before they dwindle away. I remember when social security was a hot topic with everyone...what happended to that. Its a show

Basically the real question with illegal immigration is do you break the law to support yourself and in many cases your family, or do you stay behind and do nothing. I know in American society the male is supposed to take care of his family under any circumstance, and you could say the woman as well, so what's the confusion to these people keeping the same value we do. You should put yourself in their shoes, it will help you better understand the dilemma these people face. It's very easy to sit on the sidelines, but when your put in the game you have a whole new outlook.

Before you make that assumption, you have to look at the record of other US attorneys. If there were other attorneys that failed to bring charges against illegals until their 6th arrest, then your claim is bunk. If not, then it has some merit.

That said, I don't think Bush gives a damn about the our illegal immigration problem. What has he done about it since he's been in office? Not a damn thing.

Or you can stay in your own country and work your ass off to support your family and try to help change the country and not expect other people to pay your way. Do you also realize they say it is estimated 600,000 criminals avoiding prosecution from other countries that are here as well. Do you realize that many leave their families and just never return or help support their kids after they get here, do you realize entire towns are without men in Mexico. I am sorry some go through it rough, but alot of us have had it rough at some point. But I would never expect another country to take the brunt of my bills and then demand more, which I have no legal rights to. They disrespect us at every turn, that wont get you support from us.

Again it seems that sympathy comes ahead of our laws. The person should stay out of our country if their intention is to break our laws. Again we should not reward criminals or law breakers.

What's more important to your Ducter, taking care of your family to make ends meet or instead following a no bend, no break law, and allowing your family to consistently suffer on a few dollars a day?!
