I was at the Swallows Day Parade in San Jaun Capistrano on Saturday, because my wife was riding her horse in it, with an equestrian drill team. I could not believe the number of Hispancis there
I would say less than 2% of the crowd was anything other than Hispanic. Not sure how many would be illegals, but I did notice a lot of baby strollers. Keep in mind that this was at the very end of the parade route. Not sure about the crowds around the rest of it.
I will say that in the area I was at, everyone was well behaved, and I didn't see any problems, although my wife said she saw a few incidents, while she rode the parade route.
Does SJC really have that high of a Hispanic poulation?
Heres some pics of the crowd I took. Kinda hard to tell, but take my word for it, it is all Hispanic.
