It is just plain ridiculous that they would be able to sue like that. Our country is definitely going down the sh&tt#r. Maybe we should all move to Mexico.....no wait....then they would be trying to get back into Mexico if we did that. They just want us to support them. I guess we should do whatever it takes to get them out of our country.

It is NOT against the law to report illegal aliens to ICE. The last time I checked, you can’t be sued for something that does not violate our laws. ICE will simply investigate your claim. If the parents are in the country illegally, ICE has every right to deport them. If they discover the parents are legal residents, no harm is done. Do not be intimidated.

Assembly Member Tony Mendoza, D-Norwalk, said AB 132 would require school officials to alert parents after receiving requests from law-enforcement officers seeking to question students. It also would require schools to notify families that their children's education would continue even if parents were taken into custody by immigration agents.
Mendoza, a former schoolteacher, said the need for the bill came up in conversations with former teaching colleagues and friends. Current law does not specifically address protecting the rights of children of undocumented immigrant parents, he said.

I as an american would make the report to ICE. You have nothing to be ashamed of for doing so. Just as if you reported any other crime. It was asked: Do you know for a fact that they are here illegally? If you see strangers at 1 in the morning climbing through your neighbors window, do you call the police? I would. Thats called being a good neighbor. The same applies to this situation.

Thank you. I will be gathering the addresses of the PARENTS of the students and calling this summer most likely. I wish all the alien supporters would visit schools and see how much of a drain they are on teachers and the whole system in general.

Booker look in the mirror.... You will see a good American looking back at you. A good neighbor and a good citizen.
Someone once said " all evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing" We have seen a lot of evil, and wrongs succeeding because no one wants to get involved. Thank you for your service.

I don't think you should use information gained from your job to do this. But hey...go for it. I wonder what you school board would think?

You call but it is highly unethical. Goes against the 1982 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Plyler v. Doe. The court ruled that children are entitled to receive a free public K-12 education in this country regardless of their immigration status.
School officials are prohibited from asking for documentation of parents’ or students’ legal status in the United States, such as asking for Social Security numbers.
You should look at your school/board policy before you act. How much is your job worth to you? If you violate board policy and they find out then you are gone. That simple.

And it is high time to enact a shield law to protect teachers, etc. from any potential frivolous lawsuits concerning turning in a suspected illegal to ICE.

And why not?
The USA is a sovereign nation and as I have stated in the past: Mexico* needs to grow up and take care of all of its citizens-------------not just its (mostly) White elite.
*most illegals are indeed from SOB.
