I'd rep you for this statement if I could, because this is the real truth of the race issue in the USA at this time. We all were AMERICANS on 9-11-2001; but then we returned to our hyphenated identities not long afterward. This is an AMERICAN fight, being fought by AMERICANS of all ancestories! When these illegals and their supporters realize that we won't fall for this race crap any longer; but will see the enemy for what it truely is, (an unwanted invader, that isn't an American citizen) how will they find a way to defend their baseless point of view?
Well stated and ITA. I've never considered myself a hyphenated American though. I have long felt that those who self identify with the hyphenated label insanity simply serve to keep us divided.
I could have rode the minority bandwagon all through College being part Apache but I chose the path of working my way through school as the last thing I wanted to be identified with was some govt pimped out lackey minority. That theme seems to have been lost today in the grab of tax payer paid social services. It's really quite pathetic with the something for nothing crowd.
Agreed. I never confirm my race on any form that requests it, including job applications.

Side note: I consider myself an unhyphenated American-----------of Hungarian and English lineage
