Curtailing population growth also is as important to long-term U.S. fiscal health as fixing the economy and reforming healthcare. Our 60 million new residents will increase the population by 20 percent. Half will come from immigration. These new children and adults will demand at least a 20 percent increase in government services at all levels: trash dumps, water reservoirs, prisons, courts, police, schools, hospitals and highways.

Furthermore, the additional expense won’t be evenly distributed.

More than 38 million of the new residents will be concentrated in six states: California, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina. Texas will house 9 million by itself.

Where will Texas put them?

There are only so many seats on the lifeboat named Earth. We must reserve them for the people who will row safely together.

Hmm...It appears the illegals prefer the wamer parts of the country.

As for where Texas will put them...my suggestion would be to put them on the first bus back to Mexico. It's nice and warm there.

There was a time when that was true. However, there are millions of illegal aliens from SOB living in Chicago, NW Indiana and a few of the surrounding areas. 40-50 below zero weather is no stranger in either of these places.

You mean lifeboat named USA, right? Immigration is about the movement from one country to another country. Or are you implying exterminate those who don't row safely together on mother earth? For immigration doesn't create more seats on earth. Just trying to clarify as I don't want to put words in your mouth or twist what you are saying.

Or invasion means that. I believe immigration should be about something other than just money or welfare handouts. All countries have immigration laws, and we must also. Immigration should be about someone coming here because they want to become a part of this people, a part of this country.

Too often it's not about that at all. That's the reason all countries have laws regarding who comes.

Some countries have laws against their people leaving their own country as well. Interesting world we live in.

It's in the paper today. The birth rate and the birth rate of teens living in the USA is now reaching record levels. They even attribute the fast rising birth rate to the Mexicans living here now and 40% of births are to unwed mothers.

Welfare rates are skyrocketing.
