The sad part is, Mexico has an absolute abundance of Natural Resources that could, if managed correctly, make the country, and its citizens, absolutely WEALTHY -

But, with all the graft and corruption there - nothing positive is allowed to happen for the Mexican people.

Interesting that Mexico poverty is 12% yet it is 20-21% in our country for Hispanics?
Could it be all the free-B's that they get here?

The official poverty rate in 2007 was 12.5 percent, not statistically different from 2006.

In 2007, 37.3 million people were in poverty, up from 36.5 million in 2006.

Poverty rates in 2007 were statistically unchanged for non-Hispanic Whites (8.2 percent), Blacks (24.5 percent), and Asians (10.2 percent) from 2006.

The poverty rate increased for Hispanics (21.5 percent in 2007, up from 20.6 percent in 2006).

The poverty rate in 2007 was lower than in 1959, the first year for which poverty estimates are available, while statistically higher than the most recent trough in 2000 (11.3 percent).

The poverty rate increased for children under 18 years old (18.0 percent in 2007, up from 17.4 percent in 2006), while it remained statistically unchanged for people 18 to 64 years old (10.9 percent) and people 65 and over (9.7 percent).

No-o-o-o-o-o!
You do not know of what you speak!

It's the duty of all Mexicanos to recover their lost lands, taken by the Gringos.
They want to annex the SW USA, and bestow upon them the benefits of the Mexican Revolution.

Said Mexicans had best check with the Navajo, Apache, etc. first.

Why do I have the feeling that the above societies would rather be unified under Gringo vs. Mexican rule?

LOL no doubt. Not to mention that the idea that all the native peoples traveled freely and in peace is quite absurd. Had Natives from Mexico ventured into another tribes territory they would have met a brutal fate. The fact is they did not share at all well.

It seems that many Mexican illegals are now returning to their hometowns and the officials in the Sonora state government are ticked off about it. A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on Tuesday to say Arizona 's new employer sanctions law will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state. At a news conference, the legislators said Sonora-Arizona 's southern neighbor, made up of mostly small towns - cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools it will face as illegal Mexican workers here return to their hometowns without jobs or money.
The law, which took effect Jan.1, punishes employers who knowingly hire individuals who don't have valid legal documents to work in the United States. Penalties include suspension of, or loss of, their business license. The Mexican legislators are angry because their own citizens are returning to their hometowns, placing a burden on their state government.
'How can they pass a law like this?' asked Mexican Rep. Leticia Amparano-Gamez, who represents Nogales. 'There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in Arizona, she said, speaking only in Spanish..

'Mexico is not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems it will face as more and more Mexicans working in Arizona and sending money to their families return to hometowns in Sonora without jobs,' she said.

Sure we can easilly get rid of illegals if we really want to. in In The News in History Channel

Too Bad!
It is not our role to be an employment agency for Mexico. Mexicans need to change their own government and quit overpopulating their country.

Alot of the problem there too is the dominance of the Catholic Church which encourages overpopulation. If Mexicans would have just 2 or even 3 kids, their country would be better off.
