Mexico and other South American Countries have very strict border rules. Why can't we?

If nothing else shut off the free social service goody bag keeping them here even when they are not working under the table.

It is not wrong at all. It is our right to protect the border. However, the question is "How do we protect the border?" and of whom? There are two borders and I think both should be protected, not just one. The economy around the world is getting worse and the flood of immigrants will increase on both sides of the border. Another question is, "Will it be effective if we build a wall? and will it be worth the cost to tax payers, if people vandalize it or jump the wall?

Walls work quite well: ask the former East Germans from 1961-89----------and, they along with the former W Germans did not want the Berlin Wall.

Here: I can safely say that most Americans do want a barrier across our southern border. As for Canada: compared to Mexico----------illegal immigration is not a big problem.

Most people are too cowed by the PC police to actually speak out about this. Why don't TV personalities do a PSA about illegal immigration? Tey are he very ones who hire Mexican gardeners and housekeepers for pennies on the dollar.

Are you, as you appear to be, in favor of open borders with no check points and any check on illegals?

If not, what would you suggest? A stern warning perhaps?

Something has to be done but all we seem to get from the supporters of these criminals is that they are not so bad and just want a better life. Perhaps they should work on improving their own countries instead of trying to take over a country that others have built.

I expected plenty of criticism and scorn for a post as disgusting as this, and then I realized what forum this was and what kind of people post here.
