I think he is absolutely right. By insisting people use the language of their new 'motherland' as he put it, he is giving them the ability to advance in their new society. By coddling them he is right to fear generations of non English speaking citizens, who would be consigned to a marginalized existence.

What a self-important jerk....who the HELL does he think he is, anyway?....trying to make sure that people in England do business in English?...what's next? He'll probably expect people in Italy to speak Italian..or people in Japan to do business in Japanese.

I bet it would call Mr. Kumarasiri a "sellout" to his race. And they call us anti-illegals racists .

Good for Mr. Kumarasiri for sticking to his principals and beliefs.
