PARIS - It wasn't yet 8 a.m. when police knocked on Monique Pouille's door, searched her home and took her away — all because she recharged cell phones for illegal migrants.The 59-year-old volunteer with several groups in the Calais region of northern France was put behind bars and interrogated for three hours before being freed.
The French government forbids aiding illegal migrants and sets quotas for arrests of those who do as it tries to control growing clandestine immigration. This year's target: 5,000 arrests.

I guess we can learn something from France after all? Who would have thought. I really think, though, that France's model for passing a law forbiding aiding illegal aliens in France was what they've seen happen to the US with the hordes of illegal aliens from Mexico overrunning and ruining the US.

You're a good debator. I've always mentioned that the true power of US citizens is their power to choose their leaders. It's sad that most Americans are too apathetic or refuse to do their homework when it comes to popular elections. Unfortunatly, most folks get off work, sit in front of the tv, and then make their decisions based on what the media tells them. Only the citizens themselves (including us) can fix the immigration issue within the USA. Part of fixing this issue involves replacing some of the incumbants in Washington DC.

Agreed. As long as we maintain a 2 party system and there are no term limits, the pigs in Washington will remain at the trough. They continue to keep the party lines visible and the sheeple fighting amongst themselves, while they in all of their infinite greed continue to rape, pillage and devour all things America.

Ron Paul was my choice for POTUS, unfortunately, he wouldn't run as a 3rd party candidate.

People laughed at Ross Perot, I voted for him. Turns out I was right about him, and everything that he predicted with regards to America's demise, has thus far come to pass.

yeah we can blame illegals to a certain extent but to the ones that actually made them a comfortable place here are the ones that should be

How is holding those who abet illegals accountable xenophobia? Is it xenophobic to arrest criminals simply because they are of one race or come from a certain country? If they are criminals then they have earned their reward. Illegals are in fact criminals. To aid a criminal or facilitate them should be and in most if not all cases is a crime.
I agree that all who facilitate such including all employers should be forced to pay the price for what they do. That would include the illegals themselves. After all it is they who made the decision to violate our laws to begin with.
