Tancredo said he observed a two-week operation a few years ago along the Canadian border with Idaho where 100 U.S. Marines were stationed along the 100-mile stretch of rugged wilderness, along with the use of three unmanned aerial vehicles and three radar stations. The operation was a joint effort among the Marines, the U.S. Border Patrol and the U.S. Forest Service.

“I assure you that for the two weeks that that was in operation, nothing came across that northern border that we did not see,” Tancredo said. “You can secure the border.”

I believe we need our military at our southern border now more than ever. Otherwise, our entire country will be at the mercy of the Mexican drug cartels.

Tancredo hired illegal aliens to renovate his house (false?) « The Political Inquirer (http://politicalinquirer.com/2007/12/03/tancredo-hired-illegal-aliens-to-renovate-his-house/ - broken link)

"Tancredo avoided service in Vietnam by getting a medical deferment for mental health reasons. Despite not having served in the military, Tancredo likes nothing more than running around with a U.S.S. Ronald Reagan "gimme cap" on his head: a reminder of his Congressional tour of the warship. He even has the gall to question the personal courage of his most recent opponent, decorated Marine and Navy veteran Bill Winter."

This is the same retard who said to nuke mecca and other holy site in the arab world, when our political stance is friendly towards the majority of the arabs such as SAUDIA ARABIA I guess since he has NEVER served our armed forces he doesnt know about strategy much less the capital of saudia arabia.

lol comparing the mexican border with the canadian...lol

Absolutely. The Mexican drug cartels are in fact spreading and a piece on our local news listed the presence of them up here in NH. I certainly was not surprised as more and more illegals are here and the drug cartels are everywhere-just more prevalent on the border than in the northern states.

The drug cartels alone should be cause enough to completely seal our border and to make sure not one person illegally crosses.

Our military should be at the border and use whatever means necessary to seal the border.

No pal: the real cowards are those illegals from Mexico in particular who run away instead of fighting for their rights against the elite at home.

No, Tancredo is not a coward. He is one of the few politicians who will stand up to the rabidly pro- illegal alien hispanic lobby. He is willing to take a stand in defense of America instead of groveling for brownie points in front of some 'group' who is always telling us about how 'powerful' they are. If they were in charge and the electrical grid went down, they would be sitting in the dark for the next 3 years.

Now if we so hate communism and hate the tibet situation, taiwan situation.why are we so cowards and just embargo china until it changes u know why because deep down were cowards and spoiled and with little morals till we see the world diffrently were going to have the america we want to project.

Close/lock our southern border with 'shoot to kill' orders issued to our BP, etc.

The cold reality is that Mexico is now the gravest threat to our security factoring in the drug cartels.
