Poverty doesn't 'bring crime'.....poverty 'brings' need, want, and a striving for more. A willingness to break the law is what "brings crime". There are MANY wealthy criminals, and MANY honest, law-abiding poor people.

If minorities didn't "bring crime" (and most minorities do NOT), it doesn't necessarily follow that white people would; as a matter of fact, many white people ALREADY 'bring crime', even though the minorities have yet to stop.

If you're an Italian, one way you're different from other white people (and all OTHER people), is in the sense of your citizenship. This forum is MOSTLY the venue of Americans....there are occasional visits from non-citizens, but not a large percentage. As an Italian, you're probably one of just a few, on an English-language, American-based forum.....just as you'd find relatively few English-speaking Americans among the members of a forum based in Italy.

That's ONE way the 'line is drawn'....and I suspect, there are many other ways...of varying degrees of rationality.

Of Scottish: there are quite a few Scots of Italian lineage----------Dario Franchitti the race car driver is an example.

Better yet: the Taliaferro family whose original ancestor came here from England 400 years ago. The original family name was Tagliaferro but it was Anglicized.

Interesting....I always wondered how you would react when faced with one of the many many white Americans who refer to themselves as their family's origin when you've gone into how only certain groups do it..

Italians, Irish, Mexicans, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, Filipino...Lots of us do it without being any less American...somehow..

They are all going to sail to Antartica , eradict the indian, I mean penguin population and start a new country.
They already tried. In the 1930's, Nazi Germany actually attempted to 'colonize' a part of the Antarctic coast (the part directly below India, as I recall). It was to be a base for control of the world's southern shipping routes, and was named "New Schwabenland". It was actually visited, surveyed extensively, and 'border markers' were even dropped inland from aircraft to mark its perimeters.

It never came to fruition, yet for decades after the war, rumors persisted of a 'Secret Nazi State' hidden away in the Antarctic, complete with underground cities and a large population of 'diehards'. Some legal experts even insist that "the Third Reich" still exists, in a legal sense, by virtue of the fact that 'New Schwabenland' was never OFFICIALLY conquered or 'terminated', it was just lost from the world's attention.

Actually, HISPANICS have come closest to conquering the Antarctic. Both Chile AND Argentina have tiny 'colonies' there, complete with wives and kiddies; post offices, meeting halls, recreation facilities, etc..and several Chilean couples have actually given birth to children in the Chilean colony, thus producing the first human beings actually BORN in Antarctica. (Of course, you COULD say most of these Hispanics are "white"....but to me, that's a silly side-note to an interesting chapter in history).

We all have first hand knowledge of what happens when 3rd world cultures and customs are representative of the majority in a country.

A more appropriate question is why are too many Americans of all races quietly sitting along the side lines and enabling illegal alien foreign invaders to turn America into a replica of their degenerate homelands?

Maybe because the effects haven't been nearly as dramatic as some of you guys try to make it seem.

I have seen first hand what said Third Worlders have done here in the Phx area--------------and, the rolling back of said invaders as us Americans (of any race/ethnicity) have woken up.

As far as the question goes, there are two solutions to it:
1) Keep up the archaic power structure, picture all Latinos look like illegal immigrants, continue the socioeconomic divide (which will make it racial almost by default), and have eternal strife between the groups w. the occasional race riots
2) Leave the (law abiding) legal Latinos alone and let them tend to their needs while not putting up any institutional "blocks" (whether de jure or de facto), make the ones who are illegal become citizens in order for them to account for their share of benefiting from tax-funded services, embracing them as individuals (not necessary defending the cultural-separatist aspect, although having a respect for their culture nonetheless), allowing them time to assimilate into the American culture, and eventually seeing them as "American" as we see the Italians and Irish today.

If nothing else: what you are suggesting is a slap in the face of those people who came to the USA legally.

Besides: would you suggest that such an amnesty apply to any non Mestizo Hispanic illegal alien as in people from Spain, Italy, Ireland, China, etc?

Like an addiction to Meth---------this nation needs to continue its detox from being dependent on illegals before were are healthy again.

Final point: the 'reconquista' is being rolled back with Mexico in particular gagging on its nationals returning home so; if anything, increasing the pressure on illegals will be even easier.

PS: I am a Wash DC native; born/raised who fled from there 31 years ago.
