PORT ST. LUCIE — A 28-year-old man was arrested after claiming to be an illegal alien and running naked down Southwest Bermel Avenue, according to a police report released Monday.

“Roberto stated he wanted to go to jail because he is an illegal alien and wanted to go back to Mexico,” the report states.
All he needed to do was find his way to the nearest Mexican Consulate (which shouldn't be hard) and ask for a ticket back to the homeland.

He said he planned to punch an officer in the face so he’d be arrested and was told it “was not in his best interest to execute those actions,” the report states.
I agree.

That’s when Carlos stripped off his clothes and ran down the street before being caught.
This specific form of protest probably has some great significance in his culture. The many ethnic advocacy groups will decry the racist and xenophobic behavior of all involved in his arrest. The police will be ordered to attend Cultural Sensitivity Training and docked 2 weeks pay. A new law will be quickly passed by Congress that recognizes the right of people to run down the street naked if this behavior is part of their culture. A public apology will be issued and he will be granted amnesty since he was subjected to arrest because of cultural intolerance.

This scenario could never happen unless we had a blatantly hispandering Democratically controlled Congress full of hispandering career Democratic politicians who would do anything to get the hispanic vote, even if it ruined the country...................

.....It must have been difficult for the pursuing officers to "collar" this individual......(and probably quite unneccessary, once he'd been subdued, to subject him to any sort of 'pat-down' in search of weapons). A most unusual "bust", all around, I'd have to say.....

Farmers from the state of Veracruz protested in Mexico City yesterday. The farmers want the Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI, to return land seized between 1992 and 1998. The PRI governs Veracruz. Stripping to one's underwear has been a common form of protest in Mexico in recent years.

nudism as protest is not a cultural thing.
its a way to get attention.

and this guy wanted some attention, but more importantly he wanted to break a law that would get him a ticket home.

pretty simple.

Egads!! Pasty white bums with writing on them coupled with a dorky looking bike helmet. NOOOOOOO!!!!

The Mexican farmers definitely have a better sense of style. A cowboy hat, baseball cap or messenger bag worn with a pair of 'normal' men's underwear (no thongs or g-strings) conveys a 'macho' yet sophisticated look so in keeping with today's fashion. The emphasis on bold color that was all the rage on the runways in Milan this Spring is also in evidence (note the gentleman sporting the teal briefs). The Fashion Award goes to the Mexican farmers.
