Tancredo Takes UNC Protesters to Task
Tancredo was invited by a student group to speak Tuesday at UNC Chapel Hill about his opposition to in-state tuition for illegal immigrants. Campus police used pepper spray after hundreds of protesters gathered, many of them denouncing Tancredo's tough stance against illegal immigration.
"The so-called purveyors of tolerance and diversity showed just how open minded they are when it comes to diversity of opinions," the former Colorado congressman said in a statement. "There is no freedom of speech on hundreds of university campuses today for people who dare to dissent from the radical political agenda of the socialist left and the open borders agitators."

Further proof of the rampid ignorance and intolerance of those who demand that we tolerate their criminal behavior yet have none for the sovereignty of our nation or the rule of law.

Tancredo is a hero. Thankfully, political correctness hasn't destroyed his will.

What can we expect from vile DREAMie supporters? He’s right; these illegals don’t deserve anything from us. They don’t even appreciate what they have.

I agree with Tancredo. Freedom of speech ? (at a university...the 'seed-bed' of free thought?) Better make sure your speech sticks to 'approved topics', or prepare to be 'run off the podium' by a howling mob.
And university students are supposedly the "enightened ones' among us......

Now, now Benicar to expect civility from illegal aliens and those who support them is the equivalence of expecting a troll to know when to go back under its bridge.

What on earth was I thinking? Thanks for returning me to reality.
Have you ever wondered why it’s ok for illegals and their supporters to protest or violate the freedom of speech of others; but it’s considered racist and extremist for opponents of illegals to express ANY disdain?
They may not have “legally” silenced opposition to illegal immigration; but they certainly have tacitly. People are so afraid of being labeled a racist, they’ve become PC wimps. It’s rather sad.

One forum contributor, just the other day (modesty prevents my naming him), during a 'cat fight' with another contributor (cowardice prevents my naming HER), called the above syndrome " Intimidation by the NCLR and/ or MEChA". That poster was immediately 'set upon' with an angry reply...but I STILL think he was right. This is simple intimidation.

It’s intimidation at its best. However, this is one American who refuses to acquiesce. I fervently believe in this cause, and I will NOT be silenced. They can call me whatever they choose, because I really don’t care.
