Again, the real reason the corrupt career Democratic politicians are pushing for amnesty so hard along with constant blatant hispandering is the thought of gaining the new Democratic voter bloc of newly amnestied illegals. The thought of the country being thrust into a one party system controlled for possibly decades by the massive deficit and massive spending left wing of the Democratic party should alarm even the Democratic welfare class.
The main fiscal impact to giving amnesty to up to 20 plus million illegals is that it gives these predominately low skilled low wage earners access to social security, medicare and welfare. The totalization agreement with Mexico passed last year allows amnestied illegal aliens to count whatever wages the illegals earned illegally toward social security. Those amnestied illegals who worked illegally a mere 11 quarters then can qualify for social security!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On top of that these predominately low skilled low wage earners will mostly ALL qualify for medicare and welfare. Now THAT won't be cheap.
So other than giving the career Democrat politicians a new Democratic voter bloc just how will giving amnesty to 20 plus million illegals benefit the nation?

Desperation creates certain behaviors. Work ethic sure as hell isn't one of them. All you need to do is walk into our ERs, schools or WIC line to see your "ethic" stealing like no ones business.

With some estimates at the fiscal cost to taxpayers of amnesty for 12 million illegals at 2.6 TRILLION and for the more likely 20 million illegals at 5.2 TRILLION its astonishing at the lack of knowledge about what the fiscal consequences of amnesty would be to the average American sheeple. The glaring fact that there is so little information on the internet about the fiscal consequences of an amnesty would almost lead one to suspect that there is indeed an amnesty fix on by our corrupt bought off fed gov and the corrupt ruling elites doing the buying.
I'm enjoying your wisdom, macmeal. What I don't get is why whites are
so often seemingly passive about immigration matters---after all, it is not the result of some law of inevitability, but rather by a manifestly comprehensible and politically dishonest immigration policy (which could be changed with the stroke of a pen) that whites are becoming a minority in their own country. Education probably has a lot to do with it---the general media seem to rarely deal with immigration with the unapologetic
directness that is needed and most people live witht he cliches ("That's what they were saying about our people a hundred years ago" and "Even though the Democrat's immigration policy might lead us to ruin, it's better than voting for the party of the Protestants who wouldn't give us a job.").
I think the big problem is, it will take a white agenda(I don't see Mexicans or Chinese rushing to keep whites a majority) one that will certainly be called racist, to solve the immigration problem. Whites have to stand up and say "While we love our fellow man, and want to be welcoming to those who deserve to be in this country, we do not want---for whatever reasons, (perhaps, if your a P.C. sort, seemingly indefensible ones) to become a minority in a country people of our descent founded."
As we all know, there ain't one politician in America that's gonna touch that one. It's a weakness all the interest groups seeking to get non-whites into the country shrewdly exploit. Whites could use a gifted, courageous leader (one a little slicker than Pat Buchanan) to help us all with this last gasp of the white race in America.

Roguer, do you know whether these figures represent only costs for the federal government or include costs for state and local governments?
I'd say that the costs for federal, state, and local governments combined would likely be FAR higher. Just think - a majority of them will need to be on welfare and state and local governments will be required to provide the same handouts to them as everyone else.

So what explains the persistent drumbeat about the impending white minority? A statistical distortion: the exclusion of Hispanic whites. If only non-Hispanic whites are counted, the white population today amounts to 66 percent of the total, and will hit around 46 percent by 2050.

Which also confirms my feeling that 'Hispanic' will soon disappear (in the legal sense) as a distinct ethnicity---------especially with more and more the (mostly Indian/Mestizo) illegal aliens being run off, leaving a higher percentage of legal (mostly) White Latinos behind.

You don't know the difference between ethics and desperation? How can someone be ethical by slithering across our border hiding in bushes and canyons avoiding Border Patrol be ethical? How can someone over staying their Visa and hiding their foot steps by constantly changing address or not answering their door for authorities have any "ethics" what so ever. You make it sound like anyone good at what they do has ethics. People good at ripping people off via email, do those people have a good work ethic too? Taking social services not meant for you is ethical? The Illegals at the stadium loading up their cars with evac supplies meant for the fire victims is ethical? That kind of thinking leads me to believe you have a magnet taped to the bottom of your moral compass.
When the bottom line is that someone is being harmed by the actions of someone else the last word in the dictionary I would use is ethical.
