I think I saw this on an episode of "Oz". Anyway, Haitians are more than welcome here in Ohio. Their country is in ruins, and if they had been lucky enough to be born a few miles away in Cuba, they'd be welcome in the U.S. with open arms.

I do not want to believe this,but I have an inkling that many Haitians get turned away because they are black.

Haiti is worse than Cuba these days,so how about extending the Wet Foot policy to them?

Exactly, it's all based on politics not need. Haiti is only a hair above Syria on the livability index right now, since the most recent hurricane.

Exactly. Moreover, end the policy for Cubans. Time to spread the resources to others who deserve it.

Wet foot was because of communism, Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966.
