Well lets hope he actually goes after the employers, the land lords and the illegals. As far as I am concerned we should also go after anyone who provides shelter or hides illegals.

Including those pathetic church officials who are some of the worst offenders but many of them are able to evade justice because politicians fear the loss of their votes and influence.
Any church official who is caught aiding and abetting illegal aliens should be prosecuted, have his/her church closed and have his/her tax deductions revoked.
I would hardly call this reversing a stance. Pro illegals want enforcement of laws and border. It seems to me he wants to convince Americans that it can be done and still legalize without fear that there will be another wave of illegal migration.

How can a pro-illegal support the enforcement of our laws and the closure of our borders? If our laws are enforced, illegals would not be able to enter, work, or live in this country. Is that what you support?
As our unemployment rate continues to rise: the pressure to boot the illegals (and Anchor Babies) out will only increase------------officially and unofficially.
"If the American people don't feel like you can secure the borders," Mr. Obama said at his press conference last week, "then it's hard to strike a deal that would get people out of the shadows and on a pathway to citizenship who are already here, because the attitude of the average American is going to be, 'Well, you're just going to have hundreds of thousands of more coming in each year.' "
Amnesty didn't work in the 80's and it won't work now.
...and for exactly the same reasons-
if you reward bad behavior, you get more of it.
