1. It has come to light that UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA POLICE arrested
Jesus Gutierrez! They then called I.C.E. to initiate deportation
proceedings. UC-Berkeley' s involvement in this arrest is even worse
than we previously thought - they were the initiators and instigators.
The City of Berkeley has a SANCTUARY POLICY forbidding its police and
employees from cooperating with ICE. However, the University of
California thinks it is above the wishes of the Berkeley community.

Apparently, illegal aliens seem to think the UC Berkley is above the enforcement of federal laws.

Sanctuary policies will lead to the demise of many areas of this country. If our government were operating properly, instead of being controlled by the corporate elite and special interest groups, there would be no sanctuary cities or states. They would cease to exist due to forfeiting federal funding for aiding and abetting.

I think the US is not taking the full advantage of these students. They are students that love the US and have demostrated that they are willing to go further dispite the obstacles. They are intellegent people and it will not matter if they study in the US, Mexico, or anywhere else in the world; they will make an important contribution to the whole world. I feel sorry for the americans that will not be able to reclaim the success of these students.
I am petty sure that an american homeless man in the corner of main street will not contribute as well as these students.

Iím sure their countries of origin will appreciate their contributions. Clearly, they need them more than the US. Perhaps some of these intelligent students will fight for improvements back home.

Sanctuary cities have no right to interfere with federal immigration laws. It seems that ICE came in on their own with no assistance from local law enforcement, and that group that was in the link called it "kidnapping". I call it good police work.
