Birthright citizenship was NEVER intended for foreigners.

The 14th Amendment states that those who are in the US and subjected to our laws will be granted citizenship, thus the reason for why children born in the US to foreign diplomats & politicians cannot obtain US citizenship.

The problem is that it receives very little attention and those politicians who oppose birthright citizenship don't have much time to challenge it because they're always so preoccupied with many other issues.

Nice 'little' catch there.

Precedent has already been set to invalidate Anchor Baby citizenship for at least new births right there since said diplomats/politicians were here in the USA legally.

I don't think this would apply as precedent, since illegal aliens are in the U.S. and are subjected to our laws this does not apply. Diplomats and their families are not subjected to our laws, as in they have diplomatic immunity.

The paragraph referred does not address if the individual has to be in the U.S. legally or not.
