This week, U.S. District Judge Anthony Ishii granted Brewer's motion to certify the class while limiting the affected workers to seasonal hourly workers employed from June 1, 2003, to June 1, 2007.
While Brewer could not be reached for comment Tuesday, his attorney,
Howard Foster of Chicago, was pleased that the 2006 case is moving forward.
"My client saw lots of illegal immigrants there," Foster said. "And he wasn't the only one to complain." Foster said that because the allegedly undocumented workers were paid lower wages, it caused legal workers' wages -- including Brewer's -- to be depressed.

This is great news. Chicago has gone down the tubes and become the murder capital of the US since declaring itself a sanctuary city. The outcome should be interesting and may even set a new precedence.
