The second has created this bs problem, we need to change the second so that the majority can be legally deported. Just because your Mom has a good 40 yard dash time shouldn't mean you become a citizen.

It's funny -- often there is a whole clan of people who got themselves smuggled in, all kinds of children they brought in, and because they've got a 2 day old infant born in the USA, they'll all point to that little baby and say that it's impossible now to go back home, after all there's a little US citizen. And not to mention, that 2 day old citizen is bringing them all kinds of WIC and food stamps, pays for the house or apartment and 20 cousins have just arrived to reunite with him here.

They have the audacity to be all up in arms because ICE ignored a stay of deportation order but we're supposed to just sit back and accept illegals aliens who blatantly ignore deportation orders (and other laws) all the time?

Bullcrap! It's like the old saying, "Give them an inch and they'll take a mile". Illegal aliens have been getting away with ignoring laws for years and they got greedy. Now it's coming back to bite them in the butt. Good.
Therein lies the problem. If we enforced our laws the way mexico and any other foreign country did we wouldn't have millions of illegal aliens in this country "demanding their rights" or the passage of amnesty.

I totally agree with you on this. And from what I'm starting to see that is in the works. People are finally WAKING up and SPEAKING up! The American people (because at the root of things we ARE caring) have turned a blind eye to illegals for many years but we are tired of footing the bill and allowing these people to run rampant over us. And what do we get from them...a big slap in the face at every turn.

Anyone who believes that this man deserves any consideration since he had already been deported then snuck back in (that's a felony, isn't it?) after having been convicted of a violent crime is seriously delusional.

It's been that way for 30 years, that's why the original signs looked like this.

It is indeed a felony. Even more unfortunate for us is that it's a regular practice of illegals. They don't care if they get deported. They see it as a free ride home and vacation time that allows them to visit those they left behind. When they get bored, broke or in trouble in mexico then they run back across the border to commit another crime in the US. All the more reason that we need a 50 foot wall around the entire perimeter of the southern border, and armed guards posted. A nice touch would be alligators in the Rio Grande to keep the pregnant illegals and others from swimming to shore.
