I live in Orlando.....and feel your pain. Someone has to live it before realizing how annoying it really is. I have no problem with Latinos at all....I have a problems with ANYONE who forgets this is America.
Thank you!! Someone who understands.
If your 5 year old kids aren't speaking English in this country, there is a problem.

OK...I'm curious again. Are the two mutually exclusive? In the neighborhood I used to live in, most little kids with parents born in Mexico spoke both Spanish and English. Is it not that way in Cali?
I just went to Disneyland and California Adventure last Sunday and back in July 2008 and did not observe this influx of Spanish speaking folks or rudeness. Maybe you went on a bad day but I've never had any issues with rudeness at the park. Most of the folks I usually see are caucasian tourists.
You can usually tell when someone uses (and knows) spanish AND english when they start speaking spanglish, using english words when they cant think of a spanish word that fits. These people were purely spanish speaking (the ones I was listening too at least in the crowds/lines) or else their young children would know some english and they would speak at least a few words of english in their conversation.
I think Walt Disney would turn over in his grave, if he knew what his beloved DisneyLand has turned into. From what I read on this, it doesnt sound like the wholesome fantasyland it was years ago. I also don't want to be in public places in my own country, where English is not the primary language.
