"The Social Security Administration estimates that about three-quarters of illegal workers pay taxes that contribute to the overall solvency of Social Security and Medicare.
The agency estimates that for 2005, the last year for which figures are available, about $9 billion in taxes was paid on about $75 billion in wages from people who filed W2 forms with incorrect or mismatched data, which would include illegal immigrants who drew paychecks under fake names and Social Security numbers."
How the h%ll would the SSA know how much? It's like saying you can tell an Illegal by looking at them.

Regardless of how much they do pay into the system what they take from our Society is far greater than what they get taken out of their illegal paycheck.

I'm all for a 60% remittance tax on money wired out of the Country unless you can show you earned it legally.

First and foremost the majority of the illegals he claims are paying taxes do so because they are using stolen, fraudulent or their anchor babies' social security numbers. (As pitiful as it is, illegals have no problem eating and pimping their young.) .

When you work under a legitimate social security number or a fake one that your employer doesn't bother checking, once on their payroll, employers are legally bound to honor the tax code and make certain deductions. The last thing they want is for the IRS to come knocking at their door with a search and seizure warrant.

ITIN's cannot legally be used for obtaining employment and are issued for the purpose of aliens to pay taxes on the property they own in the US.

That being said, the majority of illegal aliens that do file tax returns do so to fraudulently claim EIC for their multitude of anchors and anyone else they can use to collect enormous refunds. The IRS recently discovered that $7 MILLION in refunds was issued to illegal aliens who filed fraudulent returns. Of course by the time the error was discovered the illegals who filed taxes using fraudulent and numerous numbers were of course either untraceable or had scurried back across the border.

The article that was posted is flawed on numerous levels and deliberately and blatantly lies in terms of what happens within our tax system and the multi-billion dollar scams that result from illegal aliens filing false returns.

Abuse Rampant in Fraudulent Tax Returns: (Illegals Fraudulently Collecting EITC)

The 51-page report, The Earned Income Tax Credit and Illegal Immigration: A Study in Fraud, Abuse, and Liberal Activism, by financial analyst and economist Edwin Rubenstein, will be released at a News Conference at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the National Press Club (529 14th St., NW, 13th floor) in Washington, D.C.
"The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is the largest anti-poverty program in the United States -- and the most illegal-immigrant friendly," explains Edwin Rubenstein, author of the new report. "In 2007, more than 23 million households received more than $47 billion in the EITC payments -- and between one-quarter to one-third of all EITC claims were 'improperly paid' according to the General Accounting Office."
According to the report, much of the so-called "tax relief" goes to people who never paid a cent in taxes, and may have already defrauded the government of huge sums each year. "EITC scams are common, well-organized, and massive," Rubenstein writes in the report. EITC ranks second out of 57 government programs in fraudulent payments. Only Medicare reported a larger dollar amount.

It is past time for ICE and the IRS to talk with one another; catch said illegal alien criminals and seize their assets prior to deportation.

This nation is so inundated with illegal aliens and their fraudulent schemes/crimes, neither ICE, the DEA, IRS or the rest of the federal law enforcement entities has the capacity or manpower to keep up with the volume.

Why would the IRS want that? they went out of their way to make ITINs available to illegal aliens, that would cut a lot of people reporting their income and paying their taxes.

Why not?

Illegal aliens are criminals and why in the hell should those losers get a free pass for which I would be punished (and rightfully so) for committing those exact same Felonies?

Not getting your point here. He doesn't need to "prove" anything as he's playing by the rules.

Alien squatters sneaking across the border, stealing SS#'s and identity theft sure as hell are not stuff that you are supposed to be doing.
