Simple: the MSM has a decided pro illegal alien bias.

If anything: illegal immigration is a slap in the face of those folks who did things by US law.

Needless to say: there should be no amnesty for the above criminal lawbreakers.

Poor choice of article, just my opinion.

Now, how does that make them ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS? It says immigrant, not illegal immigrant.

then it says: "The Pew Hispanic Center estimated less than 10 percent of Hispanic children are living in the United States illegally. But many of them are the children of parents who are in the country illegally."

So it says MANY, it doesn't say anywhere that half of them are from illegal immigrants, it says half are from at least 1 immigrant parent.
Exactly what "number" are you ok with?

I didn't say I was OK with any number, I was pointing out that your title was misleading and incorrect. Nowhere in the article does it say that half of all hispanic children born in the United States are from illegal immigrants.

This does. According to this, it's more than half.

Nearly three-quarters of illegal immigrants' children were born in the USA and are citizens, according to a report released Tuesday.
Those 4 million children muddy the immigration debate, raising questions about enforcement and public services for illegal immigrant families whose members include legal residents, experts say
.

About one-third of the roughly 12 million illegal immigrants in the USA are women, and most illegal immigrants are married or living with someone, the non-partisan research center's analysis of 2008 Census data shows.

Of the 5.5 million children of illegal immigrants, 73% were born here. In 2003, 63% of illegal immigrants' children were citizens.

Very nice try! That is saying that illegal immigrants have children who are US citizens more than 73% of the time. Where does it say that more than 50% of ALL hispanic births in the US are from illegals? Where does it say that all illegals are hispanic? Again, very nice try.

Unfortunately, available data does not distinguish between legal and illegal Hispanic births. If you have information to support your assumption that the majority of births are to legal residents, please share.

I'll work on that. See what I can find since I like facts and numbers too.
