Exclamation Maryland "undocumented immigrants" rush to beat new driver's license law

Varied Interpretations Snarl Md. Driver's License Law for Illegal Residents - washingtonpost.com

Quote:
Among those whose licenses he processed were dozens of special requests from state lawmakers, some of whom have been overwhelmed with e-mails, calls and visits.

Del. Victor Ramirez's law office in a Hyattsville strip mall in his Prince George's district has been flooded with visits and requests for help. Ramirez said he has done everything he can to get people through the system.
I hope one of his "special requests" hits his car with their car so he can see what happens when illegals get licenses.

Yup, the insurance of the illegal will fix it up like new, since he was able to get one at the same price as everyone else with similar driving record.

I saw that disgusting sight on the news. They had wall-to-wall illegals taking advantage of Maryland’s gift. They probably came from miles away and several neighboring states, and I’m sure 50 or more used the same address. I had to turn the channel.

I think there are several states where they can get one. I think New Mexico is one of them as well.

And if I remember well, Maryland used to. When I was a kid and stayed there for a summer I remember people talking about it. This was probably, 10-13 years ago.

Do you have a list of the states where illegals are rewarded with DL's?

I don't, I just know of those states because I have heard people going there to get a license to drive lawfully and with insurance. In order not to break the law.

This IS Maryland. Illegals are trying to beat the deadline, because the government finally listened to the citizens who overwhelmingly oppose issuing driver’s licenses to illegals. Fortunately, there are only a few states left.

Yeah, but if they get a license they don't have to break that one.

When did illegals become concerned about breaking the law?
