I witnessed a change, over the decade between 1996-2006, in the Atlanta, Georgia metro area.
Areas that were once blanco, and then negro, became hispanic. Gone were the 'hoodies' and B-ball, suddenly soccer fields were set up, in every open field.
Didn't hear much English, even bad English, after that.
There is a biological battle ongoing. The winners are the descendants of the current generation. The prize is the land, itself.

And; there are growing signs that Hispanics are moving on/being pushed out of certain enclaves as well...........
Here in the Phx area; with the housing crash, quite a few Latino families (many of whom either illegal and/or renting to same) have lost their homes to foreclosures with frequently Anglos/Americans of Mexican heritage with decent credit buying 'em.
Daly City, Ca.; the Asians are coming in forcing out many Latinos, etc.

What would help Mexicans in especially Mexico would be if many of them converted over to Mormonism----------that faith despite some of its questionable beliefs does stress sobriety, personal responsibility, being humble, and respect for law and order.

Are you saying that Catholics do not respect law and order and are not responsible? Please clarify your statement.
One will notice the decline of the Catholic Church's influence in Ireland, etc. in inverse proportion to latters' growing affluence.
