States Join Legal Brief Supporting Ariz. Immigration Law as Donations Roll Into Gov. Brewer's Defense Fund
PHOENIX -- Nearly a dozen states have filed a legal brief in support of Arizona's controversial immigration law.
A"friend of the court" brief filed with the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday argues that a federal judge was wrong to block implementation of key provisions of the law.
The brief submitted by Michigan Attorney General Michael Cox argues that the judge used the wrong legal standard to rule on the U.S. Justice Department's request for a preliminary injunction.
why is Obama attacking his own sister state??? This is insane!! Wha President has ever done such a thing??
Its a start but there need to be more than 20 states standing beside Arizona. My state isn't listed and I'd like to know why other than that we have a kiss-arse Democrat for a Governor. I hope other's will contact their states as well.
We the people can force our government to adhere to its laws. Let's do it!
I am truly embarrassed to be from Michigan (I live in Minnesota now). Most Michiganders don't stand for this racism. Hopefully Mike Cox gets voted out in November.

Go live in the paradise Mexico then, and not in one of those gated American communities either, populated by mostly WASP Americans since you love the invaders so much
Alabama, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Virginia joined in the filing.
The states above are all states that know what Arizona has to deal with in regards to massive illegal immigration. By that logic, New York, Illinois, California and some other states should be on that list, but we know how that goes ... they are a little more "sanctuary." Meanwhile, the other states say, "We're not going to end up like California."
Glad to see Texas join the fight. They have, if I'm right, the 2nd largest or 3rd largest amount of illegals living in the state. And glad PA is joining in the fight. Well an anti-illegal immigration bill is already in the works here now when Tom Corbet wins the governorship in November, he'll sign it

I'm embarrassed for you that you think being anti illegal is being racist somehow
