Default Judge rules in favor of city ordinance which punishes illegal alien employers

Quote:
In a ruling that could have national implications, Valley Park's controversial and long-debated ordinance prohibiting city employers from hiring illegal immigrants was unanimously upheld today by a three-judge panel of the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The decision affirms a lower court ruling in favor of Valley Park, where Hispanics represent barely 2 percent of the city's population.
St. Louis - Daily RFT - 8th U.S. Circuit Court to Mexican Immigrants: "Adios, illegals!"

My goodness, deciding the legality of ordinances intended to punish those who knowingly employ illegal aliens sometimes has to be brought before a court?

Incredible, isn’t it? Our immigration and labor laws already prohibit employment by illegal aliens. It’s ridiculous that this was even heard by the court. It’s like having a legal battle over whether a person can smoke crack in public.

Bragging about that sort of illegal behavior online is not wise--------especially with the growing animosity against illegals these days.
