Just because Davis was asleep at the wheel doesn't let the Enron deal blow by.

I wouldn't reward my kid for shooting out a window any more than I would reward other criminal behavior, like trespassing. Educate NO, deport YES.

Enron was found guilty of fabricating and releasing false information. They had internal memos about it.

Where will the money come from to get the resources needed to deport them?

that1guy....
"California is not really in a position to devote money to catch illegals that are already here."

If we were to deny them the "estimated" $5 billion in services, wouldn't it lead to self deportation ?
I would prefer to see state tax money spent elsewhere.

Not really, no. They recieve higher wages here than in Mexico. Self deportation would most likely occur during times of economic turmoil. Like right now. Seeing how in many places there is a SEVERE lack of services and a GROWING illegal immigrant population, I seriously doubt that this would work.

Plus, denying of services in South Africa is leading to public health crisis with poor South Africans living in the same area as illegal immigrants there. The denying of services in S.A. has not done ANYTHING to stop the flow.

If we enforce our laws, there would be no need to deport them.

Charge them for a $50 bus ride back home. That's probably how much it cost for them to get themselves to most places they are.

I'm not so sure. If You were required to prove Your legal status to receive any benefits I think many illegals would look elsewhere,be it mexico or Argentina. The cost of many of these services,if they were forced to pay for them would be very prohibitive. I suspect many would leave...

If they had any sense, dignity, or respect for the rule of law they'd leave the same way they got here: On their own dime. We didn't bus them in and we certainly won't stop them from getting the hell out.
