Here are some statistics that cover sentencing for Federal crime by various groups. It is from Pew Organization (which is an interesting site for various data). Their link is:

Keep in mind that this is on a Federal level - statistics for sentencing by the various states would clearly be an important factor (if anyone has a link to add for that).

If you scroll all the way through the article to the numbered pages, you will find some statistics that show who is being sentenced for various crimes. For instance, look at the table on page 5 (that is page number 5, not the 5th page).

These statistics, taking into account with any state statistics, give a clear picture of what effect illegals are having on crime. (as opposed to sensational crime stories that arise about any group - white, hispanic, black, etc.).
