Default 85,000 Hispanic Children abandoned...(?)

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FORMER BORDER PATROL OFFICERS

Mexican Secretary of Population, Borders and Migratory Affairs claims 85,000 Hispanic children left abandoned in the U.S. last year because parents were deported. Congressmen from Mexico and Latin American Countries to meet with U.S. Congressmen and

El Universal (Mexico City) 6/20/09
The “secretary (read: chairman) of the Population, Borders and Migratory Affairs of the Chamber of Deputies” (House of Reps.), Jose Edmundo Ramirez Martinez, reported that 85 thousand Hispanic children were left abandoned in the United States in the last twelve months because their parents were deported to their places of origin by the country’s immigration officials. This will be one of the issues that will be dealt with next week with the Congress of the United States to set forth to them to “regularize”, in that country’s immigration status, that the parents of children born in the U.S. not be deported. He underlined “The little ones have a label of abandoned.” (sic) Jose Edmundo Ramirez explained that they will meet with a group of U.S. counterparts of hispanic origin, who will later meet with president Obama and will deliver the posture and suggestions of the Mexican congressmen. He commented, “We will take our formal proposals to said group of congressmen to regularize the immigration status in the United States, (so) that the parents of children born there may not live with fear of being deported because it divides their families.” Ramirez Martinez said that congressmen from Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama and Belize have also been invited to the meeting with U.S. congressmen, ”because the immigration issue must be seen in an overall form, migration must be beneficial for the country of origin, of transit and of refuge.”

In a few words: Tough!

We owe illegal aliens nothing.

As for the minor age Anchors; maybe CPS needs to take them in and sever their parental rights since the latter abandoned the kids.

Funny about Belize: under US government guidelines; they are not Hispanic----------the official language there is English.

How many children are abandoned by their parents in Mexico as the parents go skipping across the border?
Funny how the chairman is not concerned about that.

Well...... so much for those raved about "family values". What kind of people living in a foreign country simply abandon their children in that country when they return home?

If they're abandoned it's because the parents abandoned them. They do that, then claim they were forcibly separated, in hopes that this will make it possible for them to return to the US. No one is forcing them to leave their children behind. They're perfecly welcome to take the children with them, but it's entirely their choice.

They were given full opportunity to take their children with them, were they not? If they were not, then I have a problem with it, but you know good and well if the authorities knew about the children, they would be sent with the mother, or made sure they were being taken care of by someone legal and not on welfare, to support them, here in the USA.

They were left with relatives but that doesn't give the Pro-Illegals any gription. It sounds much worse to say ripped apart

Maybe they should do the same thing for all children who's parents commited any other crime and were sent to jail. Nevermind the fact that in both cases it was the PARENT'S fault who commited the crime in the first place, and that IA's have the right to take their children WITH THEM.

Our jails are full of people that abandoned their families after breaking the law. These people are simply being sent home.
