MADISON, Wis. (AP) - There would be no new tax on oil companies and no drivers cards for illegal immigrants under a budget deal crafted by Democrats and to be voted on by a special bipartisan committee of lawmakers.
Oil tax, driver's card for illegals out of budget - WQOW TV: Eau Claire, WI NEWS18 News, Weather, and Sports

It's good to read that some Democrats do have a sense of rationality.

It's a double-edged sword because you are restricting people from receiving a service who don't have legal permission to be in the country, but doing so will undoubtedly result in more people on our roads who haven't never passed the driver's test. Strap your seatbelts when you drive through Wisconsin, that's all I have to say.

They wouldn't be in Wisconsin, if there were not people greedy enough to hire them. Pass laws and enforce them and you would not have to even worry about this piece of legislation. Arizona and Oklahoma no longer worry about such petty things. The illegals have pretty much left those two states.

Guaranteed alot would. I haven't met a single undocumented person who didn't have the desire to be legal in every sense of the word. That would give them one less thing to be scared about.

They wonít have to worry about driving without a license, or fearing deportation, if they would simply leave. We donít need to provide more incentives for illegal aliens to remain in this country.

Or; said illegals still here are 'good little lapdogs' who watch their manners----------or else

I can tell the above are frightened because their (probable) Anchor Babies are being, shall we say, very respectful as of late--------their insolent attitude is all but gone

I say lock up all illegal aliens in a labor camp for 2 - 5 years and deport them at the end of their sentence. They are criminals and should be treated as such. Coddling them is an insult to every immigrant that did it the right way.
