Also, Good luck trying to get through the Mexico and crossing their border.. Unlike the U.S., Mexico enforces their Immigration laws..
That is not what he said, he said " See ya.. Good luck finding a job in Mexico..".

And he doesn't have to cross the Mexican border, he can just catch a plane back. The ticket is just like $500

I'm sure he would be able to find the $500.00 very easily with the "Tax Free" Under the Table income that he earned..

Oh wait.. He's broke!! Or is it just another "Illegal Alien Sob Story" orchestrated by folks with a vested interest in Illegal Aliens..

Yes, the "see Ya Good luck finding a job in Mexico" was a statement directed at the Illegal "IMMIGRANTS" that were generalized in the article.. The article stated IMMIGRANTS and a majority of Illegal IMMIGRANTS are from Mexico..

Grasp at Straws much?

Default If I Were An Employer in Mexico

I've read that many employers down there will only hire those that have been "loyal to Mexico" and rightfully so...
I would do the same. I would avoid hiring a deportee, thinking that once they get their first paycheck, or the economy improves in the U.S., they'll be out the door.

I've talked to many Mexicans on the light-rail trains to and from Tijuana, and at first, I was surprised at the number of them who are scared to death of visiting Tijuana. Apparently, the police can spot them a mile away, and love to harrass them, set them up, like when they enter a store in TJ they will accuse them of stealing something.

But if I were a poorly paid Mexican police officer, I wouldn't do it any differently. If I saw one of these San Diegoan Mexicans with California plates cruising Revolution avenue in a shiny SUV with expensive wheels, I'd follow them with my police cruiser with a smile from ear to ear, thinking: if this country isn't good enough for you, then stay across the border! You failed to put your blinkers on, making that right hand turn, so that'll cost you $300! Cash only!

And; apparently those folks who actually live in the Mexican border towns resent those 'inland' people from Chiapas, etc. passing through as well enroute to illegally crossing the border into the USA.

As for Mx's pisspoor wages for cops: that is a disgrace being that Mexico is not a poor nation------------they should pay their whole LE chain of command (street cop to top judge) Gringo wages. I really feel that such a plan would entice high quality recruits and cut the fraud/graft to almost zero.

Well -- the cops know that these people will pay the bribes. As long as people like the convenience and savings of bribing a cop then the practice will go on.

Imagine if those same Mexicans from the USA were to be honest and not offer a bribe but instead went to court like they would have to in the USA? The cops would learn they aren't a easy source of money.

A lot of Mexicans living in the USA will almost brag how they paid those horrible Mexican cops bribes to get out of tickets. To me both are corrupt - the bribe offerer and the bribe taker.
