While this has little,if any, chance of passage, it hopefully will bring the issue to the forefront and stimulate some discussion on the subject of "anchor babies"
It's about damn time...

Maybe not this time around; but, with the crushed economy.............perhaps a simple Federal law cancelling birthright citizenship would suffice.

Why I say that is nowhere in the 14th Amendment does it mandate that children born to both parents here illegally have the actual right to be US citizens. Precedent has already been set with the kids of diplomats specifically being denied birthright citizenship.
