Food City is owned by Basha's who are in Bankruptcy. It makes sense for them to dump the low end where profit margins are thinnest. Plus there's a Union Busting element to it.

to think a store went out of business because of some supposed crack down of illegals (without valid stats to back it up) is ridiculous.

there is an agenda in this article. it is not biased. and if you guys think this is a victory then go for it. but you are wrong.

I live here in the Phx area and I have seen the declining numbers of those illegal alien criminals with my own two eyes

The huge numbers of empty storefronts in 'Hispanic' enclaves is proof positive.

So damn what? A company is going bankrupt. Who the hell cares? They apparently had no idea how to run a business without illegals so they deserve to go out of business.

I live in Mesa as well and have the dramatic decline in the numbers of Spanish speakers with my own two eyes and ears.

Not far away there are scads of apartments for rent in quite obviously barrio class neighborhoods.

Over in Phx @ 24th St/McDowell (a heavily illegal alien Latino area).............there are also scads of empty storefronts.

The pro illegal apologists are using machismo to cover up their ever growing fear as the hammer comes down.

Pretty pathetic if I say so myself---------their delusional denial of reality.
