Perhaps a deal could be worked out with Mexico to lock up their "runners" for a while once they are returned home. But I am sure they wouldn't go for that, they depend on American cash to keep that place going.
Agreed. I would add that we should confiscate their ill begotten assets. Remove any reward for their actions.

They should be shot dead here if found. Maybe that'll send a message. This way the US will be no better than Mexico:P Only legal US residents have rights here not illegals. I don't even want to know how much of our taxpayers dollars goes towards prosecuting, deporting, etc these illegals.

A tad harsh wouldn't you say.
Lets say a man his wife and 3 children are caught. All illegals. Are you saying that you would shoot a child to make a point?
I am as anti-illegal as one can be, however, that does not mean that I don't value them as human beings nor does it mean that we should slotter them like diseased animals.

Why would you suggest that? In the communities that have laws mandating sex offenders to register, the per capita offense rate for sex crimes has either stayed the same or gone up. Those type of "tracking" laws do not effectively deter scumbag sex offenders.

Maybe not or it simply proves that sex offenders can not be cured and should never be allowed their freedom again. More to the point maybe they should be put down like the rabid animals that they are?
In regards to illegals? Chip them.

I just had a thought -

How about we impose prison sentences for illegals and then charge their home countries for the costs associated with their imprisonment?

If their home countries don't pay, we cut off any and all trade as a consequence. We also cut off all American tourism to that country. In the case of Mexico, this would mean no money spent by Americans vacationing in Cabo or Cancun.

Under federal law, it is a misdemeanor to enter the country illegally. It is not a crime at all to simply "be here" illegally.

As I mentioned in the OP. In my response to that poster, I was referring to an illegal who had not previously been deported. I should have been clearer.

Anybody else think this is an extreme, unethical violation of human rights? If we were to do that, we might as well tattoo numbers on them as well.

Illegal immigrants are people, not dogs or cats.

All that needs to be done to "stem the flow" is crack down on employers, and limit social services. If they have nothing to take advantage of, there would be little reason to come here.

Or, allow them to come, give them taxpayer ID's, and let them pay into the system.
