That's exactly what I've been 'harping' about, all these months..that illegal immigration, the more it's tolerated, condoned, allowed to continue, and allowed to be treated as a 'racial' issue, DOES make a 'mockery' of the law; you're quite right. Worse, this "mockery" reaches the highest levels of government, and much of that "mockery" is being enabled by the very self-same individuals whose sworn duty (and whose sacred oath of office) is to UPHOLD our laws.
It's a sad, corrosive, divisive mess that goes WAY beyond a few 'cheap' laborers. The very framework of our entire society is based on laws. Once that concept becomes 'elective', watch out....because surely, more oppresive means will have to follow, if "the Law" becomes simply a matter of 'personal choice'.
The only "law" that illegals want to follow to the letter is the "anchor baby law".
