No matter how you try to dress up your comment, it still comes off as insensitve and crass.

You can stick a kitten in an oven, but that don't make it a biscuit.
Your take about "politically incorrect" is your own peculiar interpretation. Ive been making the same comment over and over, not "dressing it up." If you didnt understand it the first time or the second time that's not my problem....but I cant resist trying to get through a third time.... the author or editor using it in the TITLE OF THE ARTICLE was manipulative and incendiary. Okay, Im officially out of adjectives for this.

And after you cheer them up with that, add a link to the huge quote you cite. I think there's something in the TOS about it.

if i called the children i would be calling them to offer my sympathy for the murder of their father. you can try and twist it into this pathetic "it was the victims fault because he was working" (think how stupid that looks), but the fact is he was murdered by some thugs while trying to protect this country from those thugs.

as far as the quote goes, it was from mexifornia, which i mentioned at the beginning of the post.

I went back and looked at my post to see what caused all this furor and I see what you mean - "pointing out that he was the father of two only highlights the fact that he shouldnt have taken such a dangerous job." Well, I do feel he shouldnt have and I stand by that, but I see what you meant by "dressing up" -- I forgot about the first and talked about the article title. I did change horses in midstream, but not to be sneaky somehow. But I believe both of them, so.

And stupid Johnny Sutton had Ramos and Compean imprisoned claiming that Mexican drug traffickers are never armed. Of course they are armed and Compean's life was most definitely in danger too.

Maybe he should have waited for one of those 5 million new jobs your president promised to create? Or will those be in time for the 30 million about to be amnestied illegals and the many more millions of long lost family members he's promised they can start bringing in for the "family reunification" that can only happen in the USA?

Why is being a border agent now so dangerous? Could it have a lot to do with the open borders message that Obama (and Bush before him) is sending?

Good news that they are working to find these thugs... What happened to Agent BullBoxer31 is further evidence that the U.S. military should be deployed to the U.S./Mexican border and allowed to shoot to kill anyone that tries to cross illegally..

That said, My heart goes out to BullBoxer31 family and to the many border patrol agents that are taking on the extremely dangerous job of defending our country from terrorists such as this that murdered a father in cold blood..

the mexican government should be forced to pay to support this woman and her children. if mexico controlled its own border the united states would not have to since there aren't a bunch of people trying to invade mexico. every time an illegal causes a death or hurts someone, the mexican government should have to pay reparations instead of the united states taxpayers having to pay to imprison their criminals or provide care for someone who was killed or injured by an illegal immigrant.

if our president had any vision, he would have sent the troops that were deployed to afghanistan to instead stand at our border and show mexico that we are serious about enforcement of united states laws.

instead, as a globalist, obama is more interested in trade with mexico even though it always winds up being a deficit for the united states so clearly does not benefit the united states but certainly does benefit mexico.

I think the US-Mexico relationship has to do with keeping the Mexican government more or less in the US pocket so it doesnt fall into the hands of the populists and from there become another Venezuela. We have a lot of factories there...they're sort of an industrial annex for us. I think the US doesnt mind the drug wars because it lets us send our own agents (and by implication troops, later) back and forth to Mexico -- keep Mexico potentially controllable... no idea what Mexico has in mind for itself.

I dont really know about the relationship (obviously) but it's fascinating and Id like to learn more.

One would think that our political reps would understand the concept that our Military's primary mission is the defence of this country against any and all enemies. I myself find it quite odd that we can patrol the border between 2 asian countries but not our own. We spent trillions patroling and safe guarding W.Germany during the cold war. How much do we spend on Egypt and Israel to keep them safe? And yet we can not afford to patrol our own border. A border that has led to so many American casualties. I would hazard that more American citizens have died over the last 9 years due to illegal alien crimes than soldiers killed in Afghanistan... How many rapes? How many drunk driving deaths? How many murders committed by illegals? And yet ? Now we have a family man killed doing his job. Soime would blame the man for doing a hazardous job.
Not me. I never blame the victim. I blame the criminals. In this case I blame the criminals in DC who refuse to do the right thing. The right thing is to use our very expensive but highly trained and well equiped military to guard our border and defend this country against all enemies.
