I have to agree with Knight on this one. Go from town to town and the accent changes. I think its a toss up for most annoying New york or Minnesota accent? Well throw massachusetts and New Jersey in that mix too.

Southern accents didn't seem to hurt George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter in the rest of the USA.

The "Chicano English" accent existed LONG before current illegal immigration problems, if there were already comedy records using it in the 1950s it must have been around for some time before that. And you will find LARGE numbers of so called "Anglos" who speak it.

It sounds like you just don't like the accent which is your right as we all have a right to have an opinion.
