Bush might have used the term "racist", I think "demagogue" is a little better actually.

I still don't like 'demagogue'. To me, 'demagogue' implies a 'rabble-rouser' in a position of power; a leader, or a public figure, attempting to 'whip up' his listeners into a frenzy of anger, xenophobia, or 'class resentment'...I do NOT believe a private citizen is normally ever termed a 'demagogue', regardless of what his personal views are.

And I STILL think Bush would have used the term "vigilante". He liked that word...and 'racist' is a term not often heard from those in high office.

Only my opinion, of course...
