I live in the Northern Virginia area and I am mystified as to why illegal immigrants (mostly El Salvadoran) think that they even have a right to protest against immigration reform. There are even organizations that support them and pronounce that the illegals have a right to be here! In Prince William County, Virginia they have recently passed laws prohibiting them from obtaining social services, employment and other services. There is also a law here that will allow Jails to deport arrested illegal aliens.

Washington D.C./Nova is a very diverse area and that is a good thing, but
It angers me that the El Salvadorans know they are illegal and do not even care, but feel the right to go out and protest against it!! I feel that it is a good thing that these laws are finally coming about in many other states now. Illegal immigration is getting out of control. I live in an area where there is a large problem with social service drains, gangs, crime and overcrowded housing situations. I do not dislike these people, but am angered by the problems that they bring. They also do not try to become legal citizens. Often communities here do not even speak English and are surrounded by their own race.

Any opinions?

Because illegal aliens are losers by definition. Many of them apparently are the dregs of their own nations and clearly do not have the 'balls' (like our American Blacks two generations ago) to demand equal rights from the elite in Mexico, Guatemala, etc.

And; said illegals truly think that us Gringos 'owe' them something courtesy of their childish minds.

I'm not completely clear on what you refer to, or how illegals would ever be motivated to 'protest against illegal immgration' (?)..typo, maybe?....but basically, EVERYTHING illegals do, they do because they CAN.....and they do, because they're in a country that LETS them do it.

A short answer, I know....but it's our country. If illegals are here, and if some of them are now acting badly....or ungrateful...or spiteful....or with a false sense of entitlement...it's because we've allowed it to go on.

Illegals don't act that way in Egypt...nor in Turkey....nor in China...nor even in Mexico. These countries wouldn't tolerate such behavior.
