When Bush was in office, he opened the flood gates and illegals have been pouring in here more in the past few years than ever before.
They were given loans to purchase property they couldn't pay for, without a legitimate SSN, they sponge off of our system, They drive without a license or insurance and it gets overlooked, and they demand their civil rights. The list goes on and on.
I don't see that they have any rights if they are not American citizens. Illegals want the American way of life without going through the legal process and we flip the bill for it.
Now obama says we have a "moral obligation" to provide them with health coverage? I believe they are included in that 45m.
If all of these company's want them so bad for cheap labor, then let them pay for the illegals, why should that cost be on our backs? There are thousands of American citizens that have lost their jobs and also need to provide for their families. Take care of Americans first.
So is there a distinction between Native American and people who came here on a boat?
In one word: no---------they are all Americans.
The Whites and Blacks were already here when the USA was formed 200+ years ago.
And the cold reality is the Euros (both Anglo and Hispanic) were simply a bigger and badder group of 'Indians'----------besides: using just the Aztecs as an example, the pre Euro indigenous peoples were not exactly angels as a group either.
Bottom line: let what happened to the Navajo, Apache, Cherokee, etc. serve as a warning that unless the USA remains strong----------we could be subjugated by stronger cultures.
You are either an American citizen, a tourist, a guest worker or an Illegal. There is no other sub-category for citizen.

The ONLY instance when an adjective or hyphen could or would or should ever apply is with those members of Native Americans...but we ought best refer to them in the names of their tribes. Oops, we already did that with roads and river names.... yeah right..

So the "Native Indians" wanted Anglos to come here and steal their land?
So the "Native Indians" wanted Anglos to come here and steal their land?
What a foolish question...of COURSE not, silly! The "Native Indians", guided by Nehru, Gandhi, and a few other patriots, kicked the "Anglos" clear out of India in the 1940's, and sent them packing!...
"Indians wanted Anglos to steal their land"...what rubbish!!...What cheek!! Bloody nonsense, I should think ....
