The liberals keep saying that this bill isn't going to cover illegals, but how can we believe them? We can't even get police and public schools to check immigration status without the moonbats screaming racism. Democrats have consistently, over and over and over again, rejected amendments to the health care bill that would require checking of citizenship status. Why? Because if illegals become citizens then they will vote democrat. Democrats can't alienate their voting base.

As you stated: it is important to respect the Presidency if not the holder of that office.

Although it was in bad taste for Wilson to yell out what he did the fact remains that Obama is lying. Every amendment that the Republicans tried to push thru making it mandatory for insurance companies to check legal status in this country was turned downed by the Democrats. So essentially it means that illegals would be able to purchase national healthcare insurance under Obama's reform bill.

As for emergency care nothing would change because everyone is entitled to life threatening emergency care but the illegals go to the emergency room for just the sniffles and that kind of care should be denied in emergency rooms. Another problem is they show up there in labor and give birth on our dime.
